They weren’t pleased. We are officially done with WrestleMania weekend and as usual, WWE packed the three days with all kinds of events and special moment. While WrestleMania itself gets the most attention, there are other things going on that have quite the audience. WWE presented such a thing on Friday night, but it seems that one person involved did not please the company.

On Friday, WWE held its annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony. One of the members of the class was the Great Muta, who was inducted by Ric Flair. According to Fightful Select, WWE was “not thrilled” with Flair’s speech. There is no specific word on why, but theories included the mentioning of Sting, who now works for AEW, or Flair’s overall presentation. At the same time, Konnan’s induction speech for Rey Mysterio was praised.

Let’s go with something praiseworthy. Check out some of Muta’s career and his speech:

Opinion: The more situations I see like this, the more I wonder why WWE keeps inviting Flair to these things. At the end of the day, it is almost impossible for Flair to get through anything without having some kind of a controversy. The speech had a lot of Flair talking about himself, which is what he does more often than anything else. Why give him a live mic if you know what is coming?

What did you think of the speech? Which induction speech is the best ever? Let us know in the comments below.
