He’s up next. Over the last few years, Roman Reigns has dominated WWE like no one else. Reigns is approaching three years as Universal Champion, making him one of the longest reigning champions in WWE history. It means a lot when Reigns puts his title on the line but he does not do it very often. Now we know when Reigns is going to be defending his championship again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns is expected to next defend his title at Money In The Bank on July 1 in London, England. There is no word on who Reigns is expected to defend against or who is in contention for a title shot. Reigns is also expected to wrestle at Summerslam in Detroit on August 5. This weekend at Night Of Champions, Reigns will be teaming with Solo Sikoa to challenge Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Tag Team Titles.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that feels like a big deal and I could go for seeing Reigns defending the title. Once we reach 1000 days of his reign, there might be a better chance of seeing Reigns lose the title. Either way, it is interesting to see what is next for Reigns, as WWE has not had a star on his level for a very long time now and they certainly seem to know it.
