What? More Details On Possible Steve Austin WWE Return, Potential Options

Those are some big ones. There are certain stars in wrestling history who have eclipsed almost any other name and are among the all time greats. There are not very many of these wrestlers and you know them when you see them. It means a lot when one of them is able to come back and do something, even for one night, and now there is some speculation about another appearance.

Over the last few weeks, there have been teases of Steve Austin returning to the ring for one more match, possibly at WrestleMania 39. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some of the possibilities for Austin would be brawling with someone like (though not certainly) Baron Corbin or Austin Theory ala WrestleMania 38, or a dream match.

Possible dream match opponents would be Brock Lesnar, John Cena or Logan Paul, though it is not clear if these are names WWE is considering. The entire situation is still said to be in the “discussion phase” and there is no indication that Austin is guaranteed to return or who he would be facing if he does.

Opinion: There certainly seems to be a chance that Austin will return again and if that is the case, we should be in for something special. Austin wrestling again earlier this year was a sight to behold and it was great to have him back. If he can put together something like that again then I would love to have him back, but everything will have to be work properly to make the whole situation work.
