Those are different. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there is now another major American wrestling promotion after WWE dominated the landscape for so long. As a result, wrestlers now have another place to go and it can make for some interesting situations when a wrestler is able to show up elsewhere. Now we have a better idea of where that will happen.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Interesting Reason Why Ricky Starks Went To NXT Rather Than The WWE Main Roster

Earlier this month, three wrestlers, Ricky Starks, Miro and Malakai Black all left the promotion. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Starks and Miro were both released from the company, while Black’s AEW contract expired. According to Fightful Select, the three of them are all allowed to appear in any promotion that signs them at any time as they have no non-compete clauses. Starks has already made his NXT debut this week. There is no word on when or if the other two are expected to sign with WWE.

Opinion: This is one of the bigger stories in wrestling over the last few weeks and now we are going to be seeing where these wrestlers go. Starks has already shown up in NXT and it would not surprise me to see Black and Rusev show up in WWE again. Things have changed since they have left WWE in the first place and maybe that is going to make things better in a hurry.
