They’re ready. We are just over two months away from WrestleMania 41 and that means it is time to get ready for the show. WWE is going to begin hammering the card down in the next few weeks with some of the stories already starting to come together. One of the matches is already officially set and now we know some more about how the match was set up.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Three Prominent Names Reportedly Depart AEW After Lengthy Absences
This week on Monday Night Raw, Men’s Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso announced that he would be challenging World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the title at WrestleMania 41. According to Fightful Select, the match was decided on for WrestleMania for the last several weeks, even before Gunther successfully defended the title against Uso last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Opinion: This is the first match set for WrestleMania and it seems to be an idea that WWE has had in the works for a good while now. That should make for a big time showdown in Las Vegas and they have certainly laid the ground work to make it good. I’m not sure how well it is going to go, but they have gotten things ready in advance and that is one of the most important things that can be done.
