That’s why. We have been seeing a variety of changes to the WWE roster in recent weeks, with a variety of stars being let go from their contracts. This is something that WWE does every so often to clear up space on the roster and that is what they have been doing in recent days. Now we know a bit more about why some of those names were let go from the company.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Top WWE Star Signs New Long Term Deal
Over the last few days, WWE has released a variety of names from their contracts, including AOP, Paul Ellering and Blair Davenport. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, there were no plans for any of the four, which led to their releases. This comes after a rumor that Davenport would be used more frequently when SmackDown expanded to three hours, but that never took place. In addition, there was never a plan for the AOP or Ellering after their feud with the Wyatt Sicks ended.
They are talented. Check out the four of them in WWE:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense, as WWE has not exactly done much with any of the four stars for a good while now. The company is trying to clear up some of the people who have not been doing anything, and it makes sense at times. Unfortunately it means that those wrestlers are gone though, which is rather odd for a team with the potential of the AOP. For now though, it means we are going to get to see what WWE has in mind to replace them, which should be interested.
