Details On Becky Lynch's WWE Contract Situation, Her Expected Future

She needs time. Wrestling is a very unique career for the people involved but also one of the most physically demanding. Wrestlers are getting in the ring every week and often traveling around to various events and shows. This is certainly the case in WWE, with the company’s stars regularly going all over the place to perform in front of fans. That can be exhausting and now one of the biggest names in the company is believed to be taking a breather.

Becky Lynch’s WWE contract is expected to expire this coming Saturday and at the moment, there is nothing to suggest that the two sides have come to terms on a new deal. According to Wade Keller of Pro Wrestling Torch, Lynch is expected to take a hiatus from WWE and is not going to AEW “imminently”. There is no word on why Lynch is taking a hiatus or how long it might last. Other WWE stars are said to believe that Lynch will return to the company at some point in the future.

Opinion: Lynch taking time away from the company is not the biggest surprise as she has been a huge star in the women’s division and WWE as a whole for a long time now. There is nothing wrong with taking time off and enjoying some of your success and Lynch certainly has her share. I’m not sure when she is going to be back, but at 37 years old, Lynch should have a very long time ahead of her, whenever she wants to use that.
