It’s a different way to go. WWE is a huge business and has been around for decades. They have also been alone atop the wrestling world for a very long time, which has allowed them to expand in ways that no other promotion has ever dreamed of doing. That is the kind of thing that allows them to try some new things, and that is what they are going to be doing with a new series.
Back in May, news came out that WWE is currently developing a series called WWE Evil, focusing on some of the greatest villains in the history of the company. The series will be created, narrated and executive produced by John Cena, but there will be other major names included. According to PWInsider.com, WWE has begun production on the show and has interviewed names such as Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Paul Heyman, Batista and Mick Foley. The series is being produced for Peacock, though there is no word on when it will

Opinion: This is a show that piques my interest and that is always a nice feeling. I’m not sure who all WWE is going to include in something like this, but it can be fascinating to see how WWE talks about their own history. I would hope that this is more than just the run of the mill stuff about the usual suspects, but it would not surprise me to see WWE stay away from the more interesting options.
