That’s one way to go. WWE is in a weird place as they seem to trying everything that they can to make things better. There is only so much that can be done to get the shows back to normal and one of the best ways that it could be done is by bringing more star power to the shows. That isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do given that there are individual rosters for each brand, but WWE has a way around that.

Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced the Brand To Brand Invitation. The idea certainly seemed to be another version of the Wild Card Rule, which could cause some issues for a lot of the wrestlers involved. All of a sudden different wrestlers could appear on the other show again, but what would stop it from becoming another Wild Card style mess? It turns out there are some rules.

This week on SmackDown, Michael Cole explained that no wrestler will be able to appear on another show more than four times in a year. Charlotte was the first star to appear on a different show as she came to SmackDown this week. There is no word on if the year begins in January or when the wrestler makes their first appearance. King Corbin is scheduled to make his first appearance on Monday Night Raw against Drew McIntyre.

Opinion: That’s a very nice way of doing things and I have a grand total of no confidence in WWE to stick with it. They have no history of making something like this last and I don’t believe that they are going to do it this time around. WWE makes up these rules and then either alters them or flat out drops them in a few weeks. I don’t believe they’ll make this one work and there isn’t much of a reason to do so.

Do you like the rule? How long will it last? Let us know in the comments below.
