That’s a nice gesture. There have been several stories in wrestling this year but it is hard to come up with something more tragic than the passing of Bray Wyatt at 36 years old back in August. WWE celebrated Wyatt’s life and career, including a special look at Wyatt with his family. Wyatt came from a successful wrestling family and now WWE is doing something to help the next generation.

Wyatt’s father Mike Rotunda (known as IRS in WWE) was a guest on the Wrasslin Talk podcast where he discussed Wyatt’s passing. Rotunda revealed that WWE put Wyatt under a Legends deal following his passing, with the proceeds going to Wyatt’s our children. WWE released several Wyatt shirts following his passing, with Rotunda saying he believed there were more to come.

Opinion: This is a rather nice thing for WWE to do and it should help with some things. While it won’t fill the hole that is left in the lives of Wyatt’s family, it does go a long way to helping with a large problem. WWE can do some things to help out with the resources they have and it is nice to see them doing it here, as it isn’t something they had to do given the circumstances.
