That explains the delay. Wrestlers are very impressive athletes in that they are asked to go out in the ring on a regular basis and put in quite a bit of effort. That is the kind of thing that can make for some difficult issues as you are going to see some people get banged up. It seems to have taken place again, as a rather important WWE star has been out of action with an injury.

During a recent interview on the Out Of Character podcast, Rick Boogs revealed that Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is currently out of action with a hand injury. Nakamura last wrestled a singles match at Survivor Series on November 21 and has only wrestled a pair of tag team matches since, both of which took place in December. There is no word on when Nakamura will return to the ring, where he is expected to face #1 contender Sami Zayn.

Nakamura is great when he can be in the ring. Check out what he can do when he is healthy:

Opinion: This explains quite a few things, as Nakamura has barely been in the ring for a long time now. His Intercontinental Title reign has already gone on for a good while, but there are only so many things that can be done if he can’t get in the ring. Hopefully it isn’t something incredibly serious, but he has already been out of action for a pretty long time. Nakamura is worth waiting on though, as he really is that good.

What do you think of Nakamura? How long will he hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
