Over the weekend at WWE Money In The Bank, Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey mid-match, costing their team the Women’s Tag Team Titles. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan has always been for Rousey to feud with Baszler, who got her into wrestling, before leaving WWE. Rousey’s contract is said to have a “hard out” date, which is not specifically known, but is said to be far before WrestleMania. The feud was originally set for earlier in the year but was postponed due to Rousey’s injury, which may have caused the quick turnaround. There is no word on how many matches the two are expected to have.

Opinion: It seems that this feud has set up for a bit but they pulled the trigger rather quickly. If Rousey is having to leave sooner than later, this is about all they could do, as they don’t have time to wait around. There is a lot of potential to this feud and it would be nice to see Baszler finally get the big win, but you never know how things are going to go at the end.
