CM Punk made a surprise return to WWE at Survivor Series, marking his first appearance for the company in nearly ten years. According to PW Insider by way of Cagesideseats.com, Punk’s merchandise sales the night of his return reached “well into the six figures.” This is described as exceeding expectations. Punk’s return has also led to recent ticket sale success for his appearance on Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: While it is still very early in his latest run with the company, Punk’s WWE run has certainly done well so far, with this being the latest proof. Bringing in six figures worth of merchandise into the company in less than one night is nothing to sneeze at and that is certainly a success. I’m not sure how long this success will last, but for the first few weeks, things are going quite well.
