I’m not sure how welcome back he would be. There have been all kinds of wrestlers in WWE over the years and some of them have developed quite the legacy for themselves. That being said, not all of those legacies have been positive as several wrestlers have left WWE under not the greatest of circumstances. Now one of them is trying to get back into the company.

Former WWE star Patrick Clark, better known as the Velveteen Dream, has changed his Instagram profile to include a hashtag saying “BringBackVelveteenDream”. This comes over a year after Clark was released from WWE, reportedly due to backstage issues. Dream was also alleged to have committed sexual misconduct, though WWE’s internal investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing. There is no word on WWE being interested in bringing Clark back.

Opinion: This one might be a stretch, as while Clark was very talented and got to showcase that talent in a great NXT run, those allegations are going to be hard to shake, no matter what the investigation says. That is the kind of reputation, whether deserved or not, that isn’t going anywhere and I’m not sure I can see him getting back into the company. Maybe he will one day, but that might take a long time.

What do you think of Clark? Will he ever wrestle in WWE again? Let us know in the comments below.
