Can they do that? WWE is the most powerful wrestling company in the world and really, no one else is close. They are on top of the wrestling industry and it is unlikely that anyone is going to present a real threat to them anytime in the near future. That allows them to do a few things that not a lot of other promotions can do, including making various demands of their talent.

Every now and then, you see a wrestler come along who makes an immediate impact. They can shake things up a little bit in a hurry and there is seemingly nothing stopping them. That is the case with Rhea Ripley, who stormed into NXT late last year and became the NXT Women’s Champion before the year was out. Ripley is only twenty three years old and the sky seems to be the limit for her, but there is one thing she is not allowed to do at the moment.

During an interview with TalkSport, Ripley mentioned that WWE has banned her from getting tattoos on her upper body. Ripley talked about her love of tattoos and how she wears long pants in the ring to hide the ones on her legs. There is no word on if this is a new policy or only for Ripley, as Charlotte has a visible tattoo on her the side of her abdomen. Ripley is currently scheduled to face Charlotte at WrestleMania 36.

EXCLUSIVE: Rhea Ripley welcomes Bianca Belair into WrestleMania match with Charlotte Flair

Ripley has been busy lately. Check out her Road to WrestleMania:

Opinion: I’d assume the amount of tattoos has something to do with this and I can understand that on WWE’s part. There is a difference between having one or two tattoos and having your entire upper body covered in them. Ripley is someone WWE is interested in pushing in a big way and I’m not sure how much they would want her drastically changing her look. She seems ok with it though so maybe it isn’t that big of a deal.

Do you think this is fair? How far can Ripley go in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
