What an odd situation. WrestleMania 37 is right around the corner and that means it is time to start firming up the plans for everything. Most of the card seems to have already been set but there are still a few names who need to be put into a spot. One of the bigger names in the company is still missing, but the situation involving her absence might be more interesting than whatever she is doing.
Charlotte has been part of the main WWE roster for almost six years now and there is very little left for her to accomplish. That can make it a little difficult to find a place for her on any show, but it would be nearly impossible to imagine her not being around. It seems that we might not be seeing her on this year’s WrestleMania, and now there is a rather confusing story about what is going on.
Charlotte’s fiance and recently released WWE star Andrade was a guest on Lucha Libre Online, where he spoke about Charlotte’s absence. In the interview, which was conducted in Spanish (with translation courtesy of Fightful), Andrade said that Charlotte was taken off of television due to a WWE doctor telling her that she was pregnant.
Charlotte then took some home pregnancy tests, all of which came back negative. Andrade said that this was the same doctor who “punished him” with a failed drug test last year, as well as the doctor who told Andrade he had tested positive for the Coronavirus. He also said WWE offered no help or guidance for several days.
Later in the day, Charlotte’s team issued a statement to TalkSport, clearing up a few of the statements and adding some context, which was said to have been lost in the translation from Spanish to English. The statement said that the pregnancy test was true, but Charlotte had confirmed that she was not pregnant via a blood test and an ultrasound a few days later. This was also before her Coronavirus diagnosis and Charlotte is now medically cleared. Charlotte’s issue was with the way the information was given to her, not the information itself.

This is a lot to take in from two talented people. Check out both of them doing what they do best:
Opinion: This is one of the more bizarre stories that you are going to hear and I’m not sure what to make of it. There certainly seems to be something lost in translation in there and that is a little bit odd to see. I’m not sure what is going to happen with Charlotte, but it seems that she is medically cleared, meaning that she will likely be back in the ring at WrestleMania one way or another.
