He has something to say. One of the biggest AEW stories of the year has been the return of CM Punk, who has not been seen in the company since July 2022 due to an injury as well as the backstage brawl at All Out. AEW has since announced that Punk will be part of Collision on June 17, but it turns out that he is going to be doing more than just appearing on the new show.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a believe in AEW that both Punk and Ace Steele will be involved in the creative direction for Collision. Opinion: I’m not entirely surprised by this as Punk is going to need some added incentive to be the focal point of a show like Collision. Punk getting to write a bunch of his own stuff could be interesting and I’m curious to see just how things go with him in charge. If nothing else, it’s a bit harder to complain about what happens on the show if so much of it is his idea.
