Come on in? With the rise of AEW, there are now two major American wrestling promotions, which opens up quite a few more doors. As a result, we now have another place for wrestlers to sign aside from WWE. It can be a big deal when someone comes into one of the bigger promotions. That appears to be the case again, with one side picking up one of the biggest stars in the world.

According to Fightful Select, AEW has reached an agreement with former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and he is expected to start with the company soon. It should be noted that there is no guarantee that the deal has been signed, though AEW believes Okada will be coming to the promotion. There is no word on when Okada will be signing with AEW, though there is said to have been discussions about creative plans for his debut.
Okada is a heck of a star. Check out who seems to be coming to AEW:
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as while WWE would have been a challenge for Okada, he already has a history in AEW and might be a better fit for him. Okada is someone talented enough to work well anywhere and now we get to see what he can do against another group of opponents. I’m not sure how well it is going to go, but seeing him debut at Big Business on March 13 would not stun me at all.
What do you think of Okada? How would he do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
