Those are names. AEW has opened the door for wrestlers to have a new place to go outside of WWE. This means that more people are getting the chance to appear on national television rather than being stuck with just one promotion for everything. It can make for some rather fun moments, and now a few interesting names were backstage at a recent AEW event.

According to Fightful Select, some former WWE stars as well as a missing AEW star were backstage this week at Dynamite, which took place in Nashville, Tennessee. Both CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, and Danielle Moinet, formerly known as Summer Rae, were backstage at the event. Perry was there with her husband Miro, who wrestles for the company as the two live nearby. Moniet has talked about appearing for AEW but there is nothing to suggest that any kind of a deal is in place.
Finally, former TBS Champion Jade Cargill was also backstage. Cargill has not been seen on AEW TV since losing the TBS Title to Kris Statlander in a surprise match at Double Or Nothing on May 28. Cargill has been on hiatus since the loss and has hinted that she will not be returning to the company. There is no word on her future status.
That is a talented group. Check out all three of them in action:
Opinion: Those are some interesting names to have around and I’m curious to see if any of them wind up on AEW TV anytime soon. Perry is someone who has been referenced by Miro in multiple promos and it could be interesting to see her show up in his corner. Moinet might be a stretch, but having her pop up as a cameo in the right situation would not be the worst idea. Then there is Cargill, who is already an established name in AEW and having her back would not be a shock, though we’ll have to wait and see what she wants to do.
