To the other side. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers throughout the world and many of them do not work for either WWE or AEW. Shawn Michaels has announced that Stephanie Vaquer has been signed to WWE and will be reporting to NXT. This comes less than two weeks after Vaquer appeared at AEW Forbidden Door, losing the New Japan Strong Women’s Title to Mercedes Mone. Vaquer has also announced that she is quitting CMLL, where she was the reigning CMLL Women’s Champion and one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, with both titles being stripped. There is no word on when Vaquer will debut with NXT.

You’ll need to get to know her. Check out Vaquer’s recent efforts:
Opinion: This is quite the surprise as Vaquer to AEW would have seemed to be the more likely outcome. Instead, WWE seemingly swoops in and picks her up, but at the end of the day, what matters is that a talented star is going to get to make her mark on a bigger stage. If this is what works best for Vaquer, then good for her, as AEW seems to have gotten beat this time.
What do you think of the signing? How should Vaquer be used in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
