It can be a game changer when one of them signs with a more prominent promotion as the stars have a built in status. There was a major tease of a signing over the weekend and now we know a lot more about who might be going where.

Former Stardom World Champion Giulia made a surprise appearance over the weekend at NXT Stand & Deliver, though there was no announcement that she had signed with WWE. According to Fightful Select, Giulia has agreed to sign with WWE, though there is no word on if a deal has been signed. She was described as being “overwhelmed” by the crowd’s response to her appearance at Stand & Deliver. Giulia is expected to finish up her international commitments, though she could still make her NXT debut at any time.

Opinion: As soon as Giulia was said to be leaving Stardom, there was a good chance that she was going to be coming to WWE. Giulia is one of the most prominent international stars in all of women’s wrestling and it makes sense for WWE to want her in the fold. WWE has worked hard to boost its women’s division and now Giulia could be a heck of an addition to the roster.
