See you soon? There are all kinds of talented wrestlers throughout the world and some of them do not work for either WWE or AEW. It can be a big deal when one of those people come into the company and as is so often the case, the more the merrier with bringing in extra talent. That very well may be the situation again soon, as two top level independent stars could be ready to sign elsewhere.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Remember Him? AEW Reportedly Discussing Return Of Controversial Star

According to Wrestling Observer Radio by way of Cagesideseats.com, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, collectively known as the Motor City Machine Guns, wrestled each other at a Prestige Wrestling event over the weekend. The two were said to appear to bid farewell to the independent scene, with the report saying “they’re going to AEW or WWE” pretty soon. There is no word on where the two are going. The team left TNA Wrestling when their contracts expires earlier this year.

This could be big. Check out the two together and apart:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as the team heading somewhere felt more like a matter if when rather than if. They have long since proven that they are capable of making it in the big leagues but at their ages, I’m not sure how long they will have in one of the bigger promotions. For now though, this has the potential to be something cool, as the team could be a great addition to either promotion.

What do you think of the team? Where would they fit in better? Let us know in the comments below.
