I guess he isn’t happy. There are all kinds of changes taking place in the wrestling world these days and some of them are a lot more interesting than others. Perhaps the biggest in recent memory was CM Punk’s AEW debut, as Punk had been away from the wrestling world for over seven year. Now he is back, and believe it or not, he has something to say about what is happening in WWE.

Punk was recently interviewed by Josh Martinez and spoke about what he described as the WWE booking formula. Punk mentioned that WWE has a history of bringing wrestlers back in and having them win the Royal Rumble before going on to main event WrestleMania, including Batista in 2014 and Edge in 2021. Both would go on to lose their WrestleMania title matches. Punk went on to say that he does not like such repetitive booking and wants to tell stories he finds fun. He made his AEW debut on August 20 and has gone undefeated since.

Punk has been a force in AEW so far. Check out the interview and what he has been up to so far:

Opinion: Punk is the kind of person who is going to say what is on his mind and there is something great about hearing what he is talking about. You do not get to see someone like him very often and he was making a point here. WWE does get a bit repetitive, though seven years is quite the amount of time between Royal Rumble wins by returning stars. At least Punk is getting his chance to talk though, because it has been a long time.

What do you think of Punk’s statements? Who should he face next? Let us know in the comments below.
