He’s getting around. There have been all kinds of changes in the wrestling world in the last few months and one of the newest has involved CM Punk. According to Fightful Select and PWInsider.com, Punk was backstage at this weekend’s Impact Wrestling tapings. The tapings took place at Cicero Stadium in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois and Punk was there visiting. Punk was reportedly welcomed to the show and escorted backstage by security, in front of some fans on the way. There is nothing to suggest that Punk will be making an appearance for Impact Wrestling.

Opinion: This seems to be the newer, softer Punk and that is a cool thing to see. At the end of the day, Punk does not have the best reputation for being a nice guy but if this is him getting better, good for him. Hopefully he is able to be happy with whatever he is doing and coming back to AEW. It could work well for everyone involved, including some people at Impact Wrestling who are probably happy to see him.
