CM Punk Lists His Dream Opponents For Special Matches

Those are some names. There have been almost countless matches throughout WWE’s history and it is nearly impossible to keep track of everything that has happened at one point or another. Every so often though, you will see a match that gets your attention no matter what happens. It might be due to how interesting the match sounds, ad now a modern WWE Superstar is explaining who he would face if he had his picks.

WWE’s CM Punk recently appeared on NightCap with Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco where he was asked about what he considered potential dream opponents. Punk named Steve Austin, who has long been rumored as a potential Punk opponent. Another name listed was Bret Hart, with Punk acknowledging that Hart was forced to retire due to injuries. Punk went on to talk about how Hart had helped him and provided advice through his career. Punk is currently scheduled to take part in next month’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Opinion: While there might not be any mind blowing names on Punk’s list, those are two names who could make for some interesting situations. Hart could make any match worth with anyone and Punk is more than capable of hanging with him. At the same time, Punk vs. Austin is as natural of a matchup as you can get and there is still a slight chance it could happen one day.
