Clean Slate: Backstage Meeting Reportedly Held Over AEW Star's Past Actions

She had to apologize. There are all kinds of wrestlers on any given roster and at some point, there are going to be some issues. Such problems can start small and become much bigger in a hurry, which can happen to any roster. You never know how bad things might get and problems need to be addressed at some point. That has been the case in AEW but now things are getting a bit better.

According to Fightful Select, the AEW women’s division held a meeting on February 8 where Thunder Rosa attempted to make amends for some of her issues with the rest of the locker room. This included dealing with Rosa’s alleged sandbagging of opponents and working stiff, along with making members of the roster look like bullies. The meeting was described as “productive” with hopes for a clean slate. Rosa has been out of action since September but she is expected to return to the ring soon. She has since joined the AEW Spanish announce team.

Opinion: There have been rumors of Rosa’s issues backstage for a long time now and hopefully she can get back to a normal place in a hurry. She has all kinds of talent and the women’s division could use her, but at the same time, that is not going to matter if the rest of the locker room does not want to work with her. This might be just what is needed and if it works, good for everyone.
