Classic Match: Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle From “Wrestlemania XX”

Viva la mania. There are very few wrestlers who are pure naturals. They know how to talk, they know how to move in the ring and they know how to capture an audience’s imagination. If you can get two of them into the same match on the big stage, you’re in for a treat. That was the case at “Wrestlemania XX”.

WWE has posted the full version of Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero from “Wrestlemania XX” for Guerrero’s WWE Championship. The match was presented as a culture clash with Angle not wanting a former addict like Guerrero representing WWE as its champion. Guerrero promised to win and get high on the feeling of being WWE Champion. This was Guerrero’s first major feud as champion after winning the title from Brock Lesnar at “No Way Out 2004” about a month earlier.

Opinion: This was a great stretch of wrestling as Guerrero was having the run of his life and having the best matches of his career. You know it doesn’t take much to get a great match out of Angle but if you give him someone as talented as Guerrero, you’re nearly guaranteed a classic. The ending makes things even better.

The title win was just as emotional.
