He’s in for now. Wrestlers’ contracts can be all over the place as there can be several moving parts. It can be difficult to keep track of what is happening or how long someone will be around, as there are reasons for the deals to be extended. One of these is injuries, which was the case with a popular AEW star. Now we have a better idea of where thing stand with him and the company.

Kenny Omega’s AEW contract status has been a topic of discussion in recent months, as it has not been clear how much longer he has on his deal. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW extended his deal for nine months due to Omega taking time off to deal with a variety of injuries. As a result, his current deal is expected to expire in November or December. There is nothing to suggest he has signed a new contract or where he expects to sign next.

Omega has been a big deal in AEW. Check out some of his time there:

Opinion: This does clear some things up but also makes the next several months all the more interesting. While I would expect Omega to stay with AEW, the idea of him going somewhere else is rather interesting. That matters is that he is going to have WWE looking at him, and that could make for quite the interesting situation. Either way, we are going to be seeing some fun stuff with Omega going forward.
