There’s a life after wrestling. There are different paths for wrestlers after they get out of the business. Some of them go into training or coaching, some move into a nine to five jobs, some of them just fade away and some go into entertainment. There’s a natural connection between mainstream entertainment and professional wrestling and it seems that another big name has crossed that line.
As announced on History.com, Christian will be hosting the upcoming series Knight Fight, in which adults put on eighty pounds of armor and fight. The eventual winner of the competition will win $10,000. The show will debut on the History Channel on January 23. This may have been the project that took Christian away from his podcast with Edge for a few weeks later year.
Well it’s not quite a knight. Here’s one of Christian’s last matches in WWE:
Opinion: I mean, why not? It’s not exactly going to be something that has a big future but it’s certainly going to be different. A wrestler does fit well for a spot like this and hopefully Christian can be successful in the role. This could be the kind of thing that leads somewhere else and with Christian retired from the ring, maybe he could start a new career from it.
