I think he can do that. AEW has gone from not existing to being one of the most important wrestling companies in the world in less than a year and a half. That is a heck of a trick and something that can make them very proud. They have offered a different kind of wrestling to the masses, but it does not mean that everyone is happy. One prominent wrestling name is not pleased, and an AEW star has done something about it.
AEW has no bigger star than Chris Jericho. He was one of the first major signings for the company and never looked back, eventually becoming the company’s first World Champion. Jericho has since gone on to face a number of top AEW stars, but not everyone is thrilled with what he has done. That includes a rather high profile wrestling critic, but Jericho has already fired back.
Following a series of criticisms on his podcast, Jim Cornette has officially been banned from watching AEW programming by Jericho himself. Jericho sent out a tweet announcing the ban, citing his status as the Demo God. Cornette’s co-host Brian Last responded, saying that Jericho should have waited to hear what else Last and Cornette said about him. Last also mentioned that he and Cornette do not watch AEW Dark.
I am officially banning @TheJimCornette from watching any & all future episodes of #AEWDynamite & #AEWDark. He is under @AEWrestling suspension until further notice. Thank you. #DemoGod

Looks like Jericho started early today. He probably should have waited until after I release tomorrow’s Drive Thru, where we talk about how stupid he is for playing concerts during a pandemic. PS – we don’t watch the shitty YouTube show. #alittlebitofthevirus https://t.co/H3JxfJDNnS

This could get good. Check out a bit of both (Cornette’s will contain very NSFW language):
Opinion: Now this one could be awesome, as Jericho and Cornette can both talk like almost no one else. Jericho also respects Cornette, as he gave Jericho his first major American job in wrestling. Cornette does not care for a lot of what AEW does, but he also respects what Jericho has done over the years. I’m a fan of both guys and this could be absolutely fascinating.
