No one is safe. This past Friday, WWE began the 2020 Draft, which means we are going to be in for some of the biggest changes that you are going to see all year. That was certainly the case with some of the moves that were made, but there were going to be even more moves taking place on Monday, with three hours of picks. Now we know some of those picks, and one of them is a big deal.

One of the most important moves in the SmackDown half of the Draft saw the New Day split up. After five years together, the team was done and it was a rather emotional moment. That is a big change to make and WWE is trying to do something new with the whole situation. However, there was another detail to it: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were taking the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to Monday Night Raw. That wasn’t going to work, but we already have a solution.

This week on Monday Night Raw, the Raw Tag Team Champions the Street Profits were drafted to SmackDown. The Street Profits are the longest reigning champions in the history of the Raw Tag Team Titles (only covering time while the titles were under their current name). The move will mark the first time that the Street Profits will be part of the SmackDown roster. Later in the show, the two teams exchanged titles, making the Street Profits the SmackDown Tag Team Champions while Woods/Kingston are now the Raw Tag Team Champions.

They’re getting some big names. Check out who is coming to SmackDown:

Opinion: This is an interesting move and something that is overdue. The Street Profits have been out of teams to feud with for a long time now and need a change of scenery. I’m not sure how long they are going to hold the titles, but they are already coming up on an eight month reign anyway. Also, it’s not like it matters which titles are on which show so this makes as much sense as anything else.

What do you think of the move? Which team will have more success? Let us know in the comments below.
