There’s always room for one more. WWE is rapidly gaining the most stacked roster that any wrestling company has had in a long time. Between the main roster and NXT, there are very few top stars that they don’t have anymore. While the roster has already caused the issue of finding time for everyone, it’s not like WWE is going to stop adding people to their roster. As it turns out, another big indy name might be on their radar.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, Shane Strickland is leaving Major League Wrestling and is on WWE’s radar. Strickland recently finished up with Lucha Underground, where he wrestled as Killshot, and was the first MLW World Champion. While he is not confirmed to be going to WWE, there are rumors that he will be signing with NXT and debuting in January, when WWE announces its latest batch of signings.

In case you need to brush up on your Strickland:

Best of Shane Strickland

Opinion: There are some people who just have that natural talent and star quality and that’s the case for Strickland. He’s very smooth in the ring and looks like a natural every time he has a match. That’s the kind of thing you can’t teach and WWE is smart to try and sign him up. He would be a great addition to NXT and the more names they can put together, the better.
