There’s a reason for that. WWE held its annual Money In The Bank event over the weekend but for the first time ever, the show took place in London, England. This marked a very big change of pace for the show and it included some things that you might not normally see. One such change was a major surprise appearance, and now we know something important about said appearance.

John Cena made a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank and spoke about how he wanted WWE to bring WrestleMania to London at some point in the future. Cena was also confronted by Grayson Waller, who he laid out with the Attitude Adjustment. According to Fightful Select, this was just a one off appearance for Cena and there is nothing to suggest he has a match coming up. Cena’s most recent match was a loss to Austin Theory for the United States Title at WrestleMania 39.
It was a big deal. Check out the cameo, plus Cena at Money In The Bank of years past:
Opinion: I’m not overly surprised that Cena is not going to be back full time at the moment as he has been done with that kind of WWE career for a long time now. There is nothing left for him to prove in his career and if he can pop up for a special appearance like this, it makes things that much better. I could go for Cena having a match on the big stages, but for now, this works well too.
