The end of this weekend’s AEW WrestleDream event saw Adam Copeland, better known as Edge, make his debut with the company. According to Fightful Select, Copeland’s debut has been positive, with one star saying that Copeland will be filling the spot left by CM Punk. Sources in WWE said that it was clear in the start of the summer that Edge would not be re-signing with the company and they are happy for him. Edge is also said to have departed WWE on good terms and would be welcomed back.
It’s a big get. Check out Copeland’s AEW debut and what he had been doing in WWE:
Opinion: It’s good to see that Copeland’s debut seems to be going well on both sides, as you don’t want to see that kind of drama anywhere. Copeland can be a nice special attraction for AEW and they seem to understand what they have with him. I’m not sure how long Copeland will be in AEW, but they certainly got the debut right and that is a nice way to start.
