I can see why she would be disturbed. Jon Moxley and Renee Young are one of the most unique couples in wrestling. Young works for WWE as a correspondent and host while Moxley is one of the top stars in AEW. This can create a few issues as the two can only talk about each others’ careers so much without possibly getting themselves in trouble with their bosses. That can become a problem when something big is going on for one of them, which was the case on Saturday night, giving us quite the reaction from Young.

On Saturday night, AEW presented its Full Gear pay per view event, featuring an unsanctioned main event of Moxley vs. Kenny Omega. The match featured multiple weapons, including broken glass, a spider web of barbed wire, a board covered in mousetraps and barbed wire. Both men were banged up during the match, which ran nearly forty minutes. This received some attention from Young, who did not seem pleased.

Things got a bit intense. Check out one of the scarier parts of the match:

Young Tweeted about the match as it was going on, with her tone going from happy to what seemed to be more confused and disturbed during the match. Her tweets started by talking about how handsome Moxley was before moving into sounding confused by what she was watching. By the end of the match, she said she needed a pallet cleanser from what she had just seen. Moxley won the match when he hit an elevated Paradigm Shift onto the exposed wood beneath the ring mat.

We kind of do need a pallet cleanser. Check out something a bit more lighthearted:

Opinion: I know your mileage may vary on that match but I certainly can’t blame Young for losing her mind over what she saw. That was one of the most violent things you will ever see on a mainstream wrestling show and it wasn’t something I needed to see take place. They went hard with the carnage and the length made it even worse, which must be hard to take no matter how much you know what you’re getting into. I’m not sure Young did, and that must have made for a rough sit.
