Change it up. We are in the middle of a bunch of changes to WWE, with several of them taking place in front of the camera. There have been multiple names coming in and going out of the company, including changes that have nothing to do with the wrestling itself. Now we are seeing that take place again, as one of the voices of WWE is going to be silenced for the time being.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: RUMOR KILLER On Kazuchika Okada Signing With WWE

According to PWInsider.com, Kevin Patrick has been removed from the SmackDown broadcast team and there is no word on who will be taking his place. Patrick began broadcasting Monday Night Raw in October 2022 and moved to SmackDown in August 2023. The decision is said to have been made last night and there is no word on if Patrick will be assigned to a new role in WWE or depart the company entirely.

Patrick has been around WWE for a bit. Check out some of his time behind the mic:

Opinion: I’m not sure what caused Patrick to be removed from his spot, but it doesn’t seem WWE thought he was the right fit for the job. Patrick is someone who has been around for more than a little while but at the end of the day, his time with the company appears to be over. It should be interesting to see who takes his place, but that is a coveted spot which more than one broadcaster will want.

What do you think of the change? Who should take Patrick’s place? Let us know in the comments below.
