There’s another? If there is one area where WWE is not lacking, it is television. The company averages more than a television show through the week, which can be a good or a bad thing. Above all else, it offers quite a bit of time that has to be filled with content, which can become quite difficult at times. That may be the case again if WWE brings in another television show.

One of the other changes that WWE has been making in recent years is their international expansion, often with the NXT banner. NXT UK has been around for a few years now and NXT India seems to be a likelihood in the future. That makes for a lot of extra content available and now it seems that there might be even more coming, perhaps under a new name.

According to, WWE has applied for a trademark on the term “NXT UK: Prelude” with the US Patent And Trademark Office for entertainment purposes. There is no word on what the name is for, though it could be for a new television series. NXT UK’s television show is only known as NXT UK and other than Takeover specials and some Best Of episodes, there has never been a different show name used.

Opinion: I’m not sure what this is going to be fore but I really don’t think NXT UK is going to need another show. It is not a show that needs to be around any more than it already is as the show leaves you wanting to see a little bit more, which is a nice way to go. WWE has a bad habit of oversaturating its television and I’m really hoping that they don’t add in another show like this one. Maybe it’s something else and hopefully that is the case.
