She has a point. The WWE roster is constantly evolving as new wrestlers come and go. That can make for some interesting moments as you never know who is going to be showing up here and there. That was the case last year when Cody Rhodes returned to the company at WrestleMania 38. His time in WWE has gone rather well, and now someone close to him made an interesting comment.

This weekend at WWE Night Of Champions, Rhodes faces Brock Lesnar in a Backlash rematch in one of the show’s main events. WWE has released a clip of Rhodes greeting the fans at a media event before the show. Rhodes’ wife Brandi responded to the tweet, saying “and some people still say he should have stayed where he was….”. This seems to be a reference to AEW, where Cody wrestled before returning to WWE last year.

Cody has been a hit since he returned. Check out what he has done in WWE:
Opinion: This is the kind of shot that can make for some interesting responses, as Brandi knew exactly what kind of a reaction that statement would draw. At the same time, there seems to be some truth to it, as Cody’s WWE return has been quit the smash. You don’t get to headline WrestleMania without a heck of a push behind you and while Cody was a star in AEW, I’m not sure if he was that kind of a star.
