Future endeavors and all that. There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster these days that it can be hard to find a place for all of them. That is a weird problem to have but WWE manages to make it work a lot of the time. Part of the problem comes down to not having something that makes wrestlers stand out, but other times it seems WWE just does not see the obvious. That seems to be the case this time around.
The NXT Title is one of the biggest guarantees to a spot on the main WWE roster as there is these days. NXT pushes the best stars it has to the top of the promotion and most of the time they move up to Monday Night Raw or SmackDown with at least some success. That is not always the case though, and now we have come to the end of what could have been a successful WWE career.
WWE.com has announced that the company has released Andrade from his contract. This comes after Andrade requested his release from the company earlier this week but was turned down. Andrade is a former NXT Champion and United States Champion but has not appeared for the company since October. There is no word on why WWE stopped using him and there is nothing to suggest he was not healthy.
Andrade is a heck of a star. Check out some of his better moments in WWE:
Opinion: There is a real chance that this winds up on the list of most surprising and possibly badly received releases. Andrade had all of the potential in the world and seemed like someone who could have been a major star in the company for a long time to come. I’m not sure what WWE felt was missing from him, but he is going to be signed somewhere else and that promotion is going to get a great star.
