They have a place. The wrestling world has changed a lot in the last year and a half but things are starting to come back to normal. That could mean some good news for the wrestling world as fans are being allowed to return to the live events starting in July. Now that we know that, it is time to find a place to put those fans and WWE now has one of its bigger events covered.
WWE has announced that this year’s Summerslam will take place in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place on Saturday August 21, marking the first time that the event has been held either on a Saturday or in Nevada. This will be the second pay per view event to take place after the return of fans in attendance, following Monday In The Bank on July 18.
This could be awesome. Check out the announcement and some great moments in Summerslam history:
Opinion: This has been rumored for a pretty long time now so it isn’t exactly the biggest surprise. What it is though is a return to normal, as Summerslam is now going to have fans back and it isn’t going to take place in a building with a bunch of screens as fans. This is how things are supposed to work and it is pretty cool to see the show returning to not only how it is supposed to go, but even bigger than it has been in almost thirty years.
