There’s the expansion. WWE has all kinds of things going on around the world and it can take quite the amount of effort to keep track of them all. This includes multiple different television brands, including an international wing with NXT UK. That show has always been a bit of an outlier, but now things are going to get even bigger, as the show is going to expand.

As announced by FOX News and confirmed by WWE, NXT UK will be going on hiatus following a September 4 Worlds Collide event when NXT UK stars face NXT stars. The brand will then be replaced by NXT Europe, with shows taking place around the continent. There is no word on when the show will be launching or who will be included on the show, including wrestlers currently on the NXT UK roster.

Opinion: This is quite the expansion and I’m a bit surprised. It was fairly clear that NXT UK was done when the stars showed up this week on NXT and their ongoing United Kingdom Title tournament was spoiled. You can only get so much out of a show after that and NXT UK had reached that point. That being said, NXT UK has not meant much of anything in years now and expanding what they are doing is certainly a way to go.

What do you think of the change? Where would you like to see NXT Europe go? Let us know in the comments below.
