Well I think that gives us a pretty big hint. Over the last few months, rumors have come and gone about whether or not Brock Lesnar would be re-signing with WWE or heading back to UFC. Lesnar is still the reigning Universal Champion and currently has no scheduled matches for the WWE, though after the events of tonight’s UFC 226 show, I think we have a big idea of what’s coming next.

In the main event of tonight’s show, Daniel Cormier knocked out World Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic to become the new champion. After the fight was over, Cormier called out Lesnar, who was sitting in the front row. Lesnar got inside the cage and shoved Cormier before saying that Frances Ngannou (another heavyweight who fought earlier in the night) and Miocic were both a “piece of s***” and that he was coming for Cormier’s title. While not confirmed, Bleacher Report’s Jeremy Botter says the fight is taking place in November at Madison Square Garden. Here is a video of the physical altercation.

Opinion: Well this isn’t the biggest surprise but it’s cool to see what just happened. If Lesnar is going to be going back to the UFC, at least in the short term, there is almost no way he’s sticking with WWE or holding onto the title much longer. That being said, WWE has surprised us before and there’s always a chance that something like this could happen again. Odds are he drops it at Summerslam though, and that could be interesting.

Who do you think takes the title from Lesnar? Will he be back in WWE after UFC? Let us know in the comments below.
