When the boss speaks. We are in a new era of WWE, as the McMahon family no longer owns the company. Instead, WWE is now owned by Endeavor, as the move to the new ownership was officially completed last week. That has led to some major changes, including some on the corporate side. Some of those changes were addressed this week, and now we know some more about how it went down.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Countdown Is On: Several Former WWE World Champions’ Contracts Reportedly Expiring Next Year

As previously reported, WWE held a meeting at the company’s corporate headquarters this week, with PWInsider.com providing some additional details. Vince McMahon reportedly said that the company had “plateaued” and was sold as a result. This line was said to draw “some eye rolls” as the company was and still is bringing in record business following McMahon leaving the company. McMahon then “forced” his way back in and sold the company.

Another report from PWInsider.com has more details on the meeting, including that McMahon, still recovering from back surgery, was using a cane to climb the steps to the stage. McMahon also instructed the employees to clap and joked “you’re learning” once they did. The meeting was said to have been filmed by a WWE camera crew and the executives (including McMahon and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel) entered through an old Monday Night Raw set. There is no word on when or where the meeting will be shown.

Yeah I’d say that’s a lot. Check out some things kind of related to the meeting:

Opinion: That’s a heck of a meeting and it’s interesting to see just how things are going with the new owners. It was obvious that things are going to change and now we get to see where things are going with all of the new reality. What matters is having things settle down and now the question is where everything is going to go as we are in completely uncharted territory.
