The Boss’ Work: Interesting Details On Vince McMahon’s Recent Changes To WWE TV

There’s more to it than that. WWE has been undergoing a variety of changes this year with the biggest being the sale of the company. The sale involves Vince McMahon returning to an executive role, which has involved him getting back into the creative side of WWE. This has not been universally well received, but it turns out there are some interesting details on the situation.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on McMahon having more creative influence in WWE. One of the sources said that McMahon believes he is making the shows better despite the impact of his changes on long term planning. McMahon is also said to understand that almost no one wanted him to return to WWE but he still believes he is helping WWE’s product.

The gist of the issue is not what McMahon changes, which is described as “better input than most would believe”, but rather how late the changes are made. The changes come within hours of a show rather than the night or morning before. McMahon is also expected to gain more influence as Endeavor finalizes its takeover of the company, which is scheduled to be completed later this year.

Opinion: This is an interesting situation, and the last part seems to be the biggest issue: it isn’t that McMahon is making changes, but rather that the changes are out of nowhere and no one has a chance to be ready for them. That would drive anyone in any field crazy and it seems to be doing so again here. McMahon certainly has some good ideas to go with his bad ones, as almost anyone does, but he needs to find a way to deliver them better.
