Even the boss messes up at times. There are a lot of people involved in the upper echelon of WWE. Of course Vince McMahon is on top of the whole thing, but then it gets a little more interesting when you go down the chart. After McMahon, there are very few people who are as powerful as Triple H, who seems to be ready to be handed the kings to the kingdom whenever McMahon is gone. However, that does not mean he’s perfect and he made that clear over the last few days.

We are coming up on the 2020 Royal Rumble and that means there is going to be a lot of discussion about names returning as big surprises. There are several names who have been batted around as possible surprises, though nothing will be confirmed for sure until the Royal Rumble itself. That does not stop people from talking though and Triple H addressed such rumors, though it got him in some hot water.

During a recent discussion with the media, Triple H was asked about Edge and Paige possibly returning at the Royal Rumble. Triple H said that he would love to have them back but he would rather the two of them be healthy. Part of this was due to Edge having children, with Triple H then saying he thought Paige might have some she did not know about. Triple H has since tweeted out an apology to Paige and anyone else offended In an interview with Sportskeeda, Paige has said that Triple H has reached out to her and they will be talking about the incident in the near future.

The comment was never going to go well. Check out what Triple H said in the first place:

Opinion: Listening to the comments, there was no way this was going to wind up going well. It wasn’t the brightest thing to say and while I don’t think it was anything vicious or heinous, it wasn’t something that Triple H should have ever said. There is a good chance that it just comes and goes, assuming Paige is ok with that, and that would be best for everyone. Hopefully that is what happens, though it is all up to Paige, as it should be.

What did you think of the comment? Should Triple H be punished for what he said? Let us know in the comments below.
