That’s one way to go. Over the last few years, the wrestling industry has been dominated by WWE and AEW, both of which have been going after all kinds of talented wrestlers. It has made for some interesting decisions when a wrestler goes to one place or another, but not we are seeing another player come into the picture, at least for one specific former WWE star.
According to Fightful Select, AEW and Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE, have had conversations about Scherr coming in, but it does not seem that they will be working together. Instead, Scherr is expected to wind up in Impact Wrestling, which has reportedly been making a play for him in recent months. There is no word on when Scherr will make his debut with Impact Wrestling, assuming he signs there. Scherr made his return to the ring this weekend, defeating EC3 at Free The Narrative II.
Scherr would be a huge pickup. Check out who might be coming to Impact Wrestling:
Opinion: This is something that has been hinted at for a long time and would be a feather in Impact Wrestling’s cap. The company rarely brings in big names so soon after they leave WWE but that seems like a strong possibility here. I would not be a bit surprised to see him show up in Impact Wrestling and it would be great to see him getting a chance elsewhere. Maybe he can even be more successful, which is always nice to see.
