That’s a step. Wrestling is built around the idea of conflict between wrestlers, some of which can be a bit more based in reality than it seems. Last September, Thunder Rosa was forced to vacate the AEW Women’s Title due to a back injury. This came after Rosa had a series of reported backstage incidents in AEW, resulting in reported heat on her. Rosa has since returned to the company as part of the Spanish commentary team. During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Rosa said that she apologized to the locker room for any issues that had taken place. Rosa went on to say that she is in AEW to make money and wants to do that with anyone, regardless of any past issues. There is no word on when Rosa could be able to return to the ring.
Rosa has done well during her time in AEW. Check out some of her moments in the company:
Opinion: This is one of those things that has to be done so everyone can move forward. At the end of the day, Rosa was the center of some issues backstage, whether it was deserved or not. There is only so much that can be done with that hanging over everyone’s heads and thankfully it seems to have been cleared out. Whenever Rosa is ready to go, things should be cleared up now and that should help quite a bit.
What do you think of Rosa? How will she do when she returns to AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
