That’s a big one. We are about two and a half months away from WrestleMania 40 and that means it is time to start setting things up for the show. WWE has done more than a few things to get ready for the show but there are still quite a few things to go. Now we have a pretty good idea of a match that is coming, which includes plans have have been in the works for a bit.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They Have A Plan: How WWE Superstars Are Being Told To Deal With Crazy Week

Earlier this month on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley had a face to face staredown. Lynch said she wanted to face Ripley to see if she could beat her, while Ripley said she wanted to see if Lynch could as well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a match between the two has been planned for months, which would make Lynch a favorite to win the women’s Royal Rumble match.

This should be good. Check out the two of them together and on their own:

Opinion: I don’t think this is much of a surprise as Lynch vs. Ripley is a dream match worth of WrestleMania season. It should be quite the showdown with the two of them both at the top of their games. While Lynch doesn’t necessarily need to win the Royal Rumble to get to WrestleMania, it is the fastest path there and something that WWE could certainly do in one night this weekend.

What do you think of the idea? How would a match between the two go? Let us know in the comments below.
