They’re right for the roles. Wrestling is a fascinating industry and there is something amazing about looking back at its history. Fans have always wanted to know more about the sport, but there are times when outsiders are interested in stars and their stories as well. Now people from both sides will be able to see the story of one of the more important names in wrestling history, with modern names helping to tell it.

According to Fightful Select, Charlotte and Liv Morgan have both been cast in an upcoming film on the life of Mildred Burke. Charlotte will be playing June Byers and Morgan will be playing Clara Mortensen, with Emily Bett Rickards as Burke herself. Filming is expected to begin in June in Louisville, Kentucky. There is no word on any other wrestlers being cast or when the movie will be released.

Opinion: This is a good sign for wrestling fans as there is something special about seeing wrestling stories being told on the big screen. The fact that there are modern wrestlers involved in the film should help as well, as they should help make the wrestling sequences that much better. Burke is one of the most important women in wrestling history and it will be great to see her story told.
