Big One: Update On Seth Rollins’ WWE Contract Status, Company’s Stance On Him

He’s a name. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster but only a handful of them are near the top of the company. Those are the wrestlers who are often expected to help carry WWE and it makes sense for the company to want to take care of them as much as possible. That is going to have to be the case in the near future, as a top WWE Superstar has a contract coming up.

According to Fightful Select, Seth Rollins’ current WWE contract is set to expire in June, though the two sides have not begun negotiations on a new contract. It is expected that WWE will attempt to sign Rollins, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, to a new deal. A WWE official said that signing Rolling to a new deal is a “priority” for WWE, though it is not clear when such negotiations would begin.

Opinion: This is about as much of a layup as you can ask or from WWE, as Rollins is one of the biggest stars in the company and it would make all the sense in the world or them to want to keep him around. Rollins is someone who the company has built around for a good while now and it would be nice or him to be around that much longer. WWE seems to understand this and hopefully everything works out.
